My biggest regret is that this is only one out of three parts of this series. Very inspiring!
This audio book I purchased at audible.com is actually part of an audio series by Zig Ziglar. As such, there are some parts where he refers to things that I haven’t heard yet because this isn’t the first part of the series.
That is pretty much the only problem I have with this book. It is a fantastic read and I’ve already read it twice. If you’ve realized that goal-setting is important but aren’t sure how to keep motivated or hold yourself accountable this is the book for you. If you don’t think goals are important this book is for you!
Through a series of parables and explanations Ziglar guides us through why goals are important (Don’t be a wandering generality. If you aim at nothing you’ll hit it every time.) why we don’t make goals (FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real) and how to motivate, focus and hold yourself accountable for goals.
This is one of the most comprehensive goal-setting books I’ve ever run across. It is an extremely challenging book in that it really does encourage and call you out to actually start making goals. I love the stories the most, but one of the places I took the most notes was when Ziglar started talking about dealing with too many goals and how to prioritize, keep track of and hold yourself accountable for them.
An excellent book that promises amazing results if you’ll just follow the teachings for 30 days.
