Short but sweet, a great introduction to the concepts better explored in longer Ziglar seminars!
I should specify what I listened to was an abridged and shortened version of Zig Ziglar’s full book by the same title. There were obviously some things missing – Ziglar points out in the recording that to cover the full book it might take a good 17 hours and the audio format was less than 3 hours long.
The information was mostly an introduction to material covered in detail on the How to Stay Motivated series (which I’ve already read and review and highly recommend). It covered what the ‘top’ was, how to reach it, how to go beyond it and what some of the things were in our ways. It covered the affirmations and the impact they can have. It also covers many other motivational gems that I wish I could write about but honestly, you won’t get the impact from me you’ll get from just listening to Zig.
If the How to Stay Motivated series seemed a bit intimidating (each of the three sections is about 7-8 hours long) then this book/audio is an excellent way to get your feet wet.
There’s no question in my mind that no matter how old this material is it is offering timeless advice for success in everyone’s personal and professional life.
