Review: Rhinoceros Success by Scott Alexander

Down and Dirty: 4 out of 5

Short, energizing book about CHARGING into life with zeal.

Stop being a cow. That is the message of this book. This book is a whimsical anthropomorphic series of reminders about what it takes to be successful. A Rhino isn’t a cow – that is you aren’t content to graze and be slaughtered – you hunt for opportunities in the dangerous jungle. Rhinos charge through obstacles, their thick skin protects them from the torpedoes of life that try to thwart them as they go all-out with pure Rhino-focus.

What I love about this book, besides the amusing illustrations, is it’s quick effort to label you, the reader, as a Rhino. It drags you into immediately beginning to identify with becoming a Rhino and even early on gives you your first challenge to prove you’re committed.

Because this is a short book and I don’t want to spoil it entirely, I will wrap up this short review with this: If you’re looking for a super-charged kick in the pants – read this book!
